The San Jose is a PREMIUM manufactured home using 70mm (2-3/4") thick interlocking wall logs. At 854sq ft including a covered front porch this 3 bedroom house can be configured to allow to 2 bedrooms and a master ensuite. It is perfect as both a small home or family cabin.
This PREMIUM model can be insulated on the inside using metal brackets to mount 2 x 4 studs with 3/4" tongue & groove boards applied over the studs. Insulation kit is 10% of selling price and includes the brackets and T&G boards.
Tip: Mineral wool insulation is recommended for log construction. It is impervious to moisture with a higher R-value per inch than fibreglass and is considered a GREEN building material, environmentally friendly insulation.
