The Aspen lofted is a solid wood home using 70mm ( 2-3/4") thick wall logs. This model has a total footprint of 24' x 36' giving 864 sq ft of living space plus a loft over the two bedrooms. The main living area has a high cathedral ceiling creating a very open living space. Modifications can also be made to the floor plan at NO CHARGE providing no additional materials are required.
Insulating installation kit add 10% - includes metal brackets for studs & 3/4" T&G wall cover boards.
Tip: Mineral wool insulation is recommended for log construction. It is impervious to moisture with a higher R-value per inch than fiberglass and is considered a GREEN building material, environmentally friendly insulation.
