The Woodham 2 is a solid wood home using 70mm (2-3/4") thick wall logs. This model is the same as the Woodham 1 but with a loft & stairs, creating added living space. The total foot print is 433" x 374" - 1124 sq ft less the front covered deck area. A four or five bedroom model with an open living space that has a vaulted/cathedral ceiling of just over 16'. The second level room can be made open with railings overlooking the lower living room at no charge. Modifications can also be made to the floor plan at NO CHARGE proving no additional materials are required.
Insulatinginstallation kit add 10% - inlcudes metal brackets for studs and 3/4" T&G wall cover boards.
Tip: Mineral wool insulation is recommended for log construction. It is impervious to moisture with a higer R-value per inch than fiberglass and is considered a GREEN building material, environmentally friendly insulation.
The Woodham 2 can be assembled in 15 days or less with 4 people. The building passes structual requirements for building codes in all of North America.
